The crowbar is one of three melee weapons. Unlike the Hatchet, it cannot be used to obtain wood.

The crowbar uses a primary weapon slot, and can be added to the tool slots when not in use.

The Crowbar is a quite common loot drop, as it spawns in churches, industrial buildings, and residential buildings at around a 10% chance.

It can kill players and zombies in 3 to 5 hits to the torso.

The crowbar is one of the less useful things in the game. It cannot be used to anything, besides bludgeoning people. It doesn't do too well at it, either.

There is a very good chance a zombie will make you bleed if you fight them with a crowbar due to unclear range and zombie animations. Practice!

Bugs Edit

  • If a crowbar (or any melee weapon) is dropped and than picked up, you will need to reload it. This is because the crowbar ammo falls out, just like with guns. Melee weapons shoot large, very short-range bullets into things to imitate a melee weapon.
